You Are Worthy – Make Time for Yourself
Worthiness is something many of us struggle with. Mothers, in particular, often find it hard to accept that they are worthy of taking time to do things purely for themselves. It can feel so hard to put down the washing and pick up something that truly brings you joy, but it is such an important thing to do, and you may be surprised by the wonderful effect that making time for yourself can have on you, your work, and indeed your whole family!
Join me in this video as I share my thoughts around worthiness, and how making a few small changes in your life can benefit not only you, but your entire family.
Do you struggle with not feeling worthy of taking the time to do the things that light you up? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. If you found the video useful I would be honoured if you shared it with your network.

– – Hello, my lovely friends. It’s Dr. Sally Graddon, the Life Balance Doctor here.
I was thinking last night as I was sat watching a slightly goofy film that I slightly fell in love with actually. It was the one about Eddie the Eagle, the British ski jumper. As I was watching it, I realised – or it hit me – about how often we, particularly as mothers, I think, don’t feel worthy to take time for ourselves, to do something that we deem to be not very useful or something that’s not for our family or for other people. And I just wanted to come and tell you that you are worthy.
We are all worthy.
We’re all worthy to take time to do something that brings us joy, something that on the outside might seem slightly meaningless and pointless and not achieve our goals or get us further in our business or do the washing or be cooking and caring for our families. But we really are worthy to take that time for ourselves to do the things that light us up and make us feel good.
So if you’re having a day where you don’t feel as though you should do those things, if you don’t feel as though you’re good enough or worth taking that time to look after yourself and be kind to yourself, you’re wrong.
Take time to prioritise your needs, your desires, to do the things that make you feel good, because it will have a knock-on effect on everybody around you. When you take that time to do those little things, you will light up and everybody around you will see and will benefit from it.
You are good enough.
You are worthy.
And you’re loved.
So lots of love to all of you. Go and do something that makes you feel really good!
Take care, my love, bye bye.
